Schito

Schito (N-V combination): Diminuitive of 'Sko, 'Scho, (Contraction of Let's go). Indicates theoretical willingness to go in a little while but not in the present moment. Usually spoken in response to "'Sko", as this:

Person 1:  " 'Sko!"
Person 2:  " 'Schito!"  or " 'Schito, 'schito!"




Schito (noun):  A tiny, noxious, stinging bug, native habitat:  Waterways, swamps, ditches, ponds, and puddles of Missouri. If found beyond its natural environs, is referred to by non-citizens of the state as Mo-schitos.
