  2. Question: Is it safe to assume that someone who lives deep in the country by choice doesn't like shopping?

I say, of course it is. If shopping was important to such a person, they'd live close to shops. It's like lamprey eels living near sharks, but the other way round.

Someone who shall remain nameless KnowS better, and insists there is no connection. I am sure this person acKnowledgeS your opinions and when this person reads them, the person will admit that he or she is wrong and is simply being difficult.

  3. I absolutely hate shopping (except for shopping for books -- I could spend an entire day in a really good bookstore). So that's one for you.

However, the other person who lives here deep in the country with me likes to shop (and is at the grocery store even as I type), so one for ... umm, well whoever it is what KnowS better.

  4. I am certain that the person who KnowS better is gratified by your perspective, Andi. Just one more step toward proving that the writer of the second entry above is likely a leasT 3 times wrong.
