(past participle). Describing the state of being in the middle of the middle.

His strategy for getting elected was to make sure all his political positions were metated.

    I bet you could get this off the ground. Email it to Bill Clinton and I bet you see in a funding solicitation within a month.

    Yes, well, if one's address gets on Clinton's mailing list, you'll be on the receiving end of a solicitation whether or not it contains Metating.
